Amarnath Cave Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is one of the holiest shrines in Hinduism. Located at an altitude of 3,888 meters, the temple houses the sacred ice Shiva Lingam, which naturally forms inside the cave every year. The pilgrimage is undertaken during the Shravan month (July-August) when devotees trek through the challenging yet breathtaking Himalayan terrain to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings. The yatra is a spiritually uplifting experience, filled with devotion, adventure, and scenic beauty.
